Lifestyle

Confidence outside the vanity — how I move, watch, play, and find things I love.

Movement

I used to love karate — the focus, the discipline, the quiet power. These days I keep movement light and real: day on, day off. Not a strict program. Just showing up for my body the same way I show up for myself.

Mindset

Mindset & the Future

I know a lot of people feel like everything is getting worse — that the world is heading somewhere dark. I don’t see it that way.

I think things are getting easier. Technology, AI, and the tools we already have are changing how we live, work, and solve problems. Robots and smart systems will be in more places, even regular homes, and that will free up time and energy. Legal and practical progress will keep moving forward too. Environmental challenges aren’t going to disappear overnight, but I believe the same tools and innovation that are accelerating everything else will help us handle them.

What I don’t accept is the idea that progress should only benefit a small group — the ones who already have the most. Real power isn’t hoarding the good stuff. It’s when more people can actually use it and live better because of it.

This isn’t a political take. It’s just how I see it: confidence in what’s possible, without pretending everything is already fair.

Watching

Movies and stories that stay with me.

Mulan (1998)

I love this film for its strong girl at the center — brave, loyal, and fully herself. The 2020 live-action brought Mulan back to the spotlight, but the version that stays with me is the 1998 animated classic.

Ya Ana Ya Khalty (Me or My Auntie)

I watched Ya Ana Ya Khalty when I was little, and it made me laugh so hard. Pure comfort comedy — I still smile thinking about it.

Gaming

Gaming brought my confidence back because every game gave me a space to decide and prove to myself that I can.

During a phase when I graduated late and faced mental challenges, playing was the only thing that helped me focus and move forward step by step. Every time I pushed through a hard part or won, it reminded me of the quiet strength I’ve known since I was young.

That feeling repeated until it became part of me again, and it helped me step into my first job with confidence.

Gaming wasn’t just entertainment. It was the path that brought me back to who I am: strong and confident.

Dark Souls III

Every fight had me locked in. The combat is tough and fair, and it feels good once it clicks.
